I was at Whole Foods just a little bit ago, and there was hardly anyone there. One of the few people there was a guy who looked almost exactly as I had imagined Voltaire Rice. He had the long blonde hair in a ponytail, was about the same height (probably taller), had a similar build, dressed in a pretty similar way, and had a face almost exactly as I had imagined it. I was sad that I didn't have a camera anywhere nearby and that, even if I did, I am far too shy to ask people like that if I can take a picture of them. But that was still cool.

Yesterday, while my grandmother, father and I were playing Scrabble, my grandmother kept getting all consonants, my father kept getting all vowels, and I was getting a lovely mix of words. At one point, my father drew a few more tiles and said "I have three fucking I's." I am using this in my novel.

Voltaire: *super pissy* I HAVE THREE FUCKING I'S!!
Alaska: *smiles* Perhaps that third eye will allow you to see the board better and MAKE A DECISION, FOR GOD'S SAKE.
